The stock market was halted for 15 min between 9:35-9:50 because of the sharp drop of stock index of over 7%. Upon market re-open, the stock usually bottoms out. For the major banks, there may be two green bar (total: 10 minutes) of price surge, then the stock price will drop bottom. A new direction of price changes will happen.

RY, the biggest bank in Canada is chosen as an example for an iching experiment. A reading was casted when we see 3 green bars upward price movement at 10:25 a.m.

The hexagram is hexagram 26: The taming power of the great.

This means the price will rise for at least 0.83% or more, as based on iching mathematics in the near future. However, hex 26 also means that the price will drop for sometime to come. This created an inverted V situation. One can buy at the bottom, sell at the peak (after 5-y bar of green (5 min)) and get out of it. Since the cycle time is 32 minutes (iching mathematics), the stock reaches it peak price at the end of 16 minutes counting from 10:25 a.m. (roughly not beyond 10:50 a.m.)

The actual outcome: 78 – 78.50 at 10:25 a.m zone, 80.75-81.70 at 10:45 a.m. The price will drop again down. Roughly, there is a profit of 200 to 250 for 100 shares over 15 minutes. The base cost is about 7850.

One should note that the nuclear hexagram of hex 26 is hex 54 marrying maiden. Hex 54 means the stock price drop and rebound little, before Hex 26 takes over in the time domain.

In Hex 26, wealth line is ying line at 26.5, an improper position. Zi water wealth is day void for a few more days to come. There is no longer term profit. The host line 26.3 is officer yin wood which is the day commander. Officer means thieves that short the market for the gain. Since March 12 is the yin wood day, such action is supported by the day commander (time domain).

The child (capital) line shen metal is hidden under 26.2 brother (seller) chen earth. Since it is hidden and the capital line is month void under the current month mao wood, there is no new influx of capital to push up prices. Brother are sellers (earth) and they produce metal (capital). Thus, in this case, they sell to recover their money at least for now.

As speculated, the RY price drops back to 80.10 by 11:00 a.m, and then 78.86 by 11:45 a.m.

If one can analyze a reading like the above in less than 2 minute and execute the trade, you can profit via selling in 15 minutes. Event the best Iching scholar may not be able to do it. In addition, human greed may result in loss Vs gain in a volatile market. This is a R & D experiment, and I do not recommend anyone in actually executing the trade.

The market will continue to be volatile. Iching mathematics can predict the next price drop for the index and so is the Dow future number very early morning.

The above example is an example in identifying an innovative solution to get a gain while everyone is losing money as an individual investor in recent financial market melt down.

Thanks, I think that hex 26 also has a meaning of picking, of collection, since it is complementary to hex 45 that represents a group or a pile. When buying stocks, moving from 26 to 45, one has to be careful.

I agree that Hex 26 to Hex 45 represents a risky situation for stock price to drop in the trading period ahead.

Hex 26.1.2.3.4.5.6 transformed to Hex 45 represents a very unstable situation because all the lines are change lines.

Hex 53 is the nuclear hexagram of Hex 45. This means the prices of the stock rises slowly in the time domain cycle of 53.

Since Hex 45 may refer to high volume changing hands, there are many buyers of the stock at the end, resulting in high stock price. High stock price set the stage for future price drop from as little as 0.83% to 8.3% or higher. This depends on the price of the stock.

From my experience, we do not use a pair of hexagram for analysis when all line are change lines. Rather, we ask the querent to wait for some time and perform another cast.

House of 4 (wealth) is Hex 32 meaning that the stocking price fluctuate over a narrow price range for a certain period of time. House of 5 (final conclusion) is Hex 60 Limit.

Over the medium term, with Hex 60, the stock price will drop because the chi from the upper trigram kan water, lower trigram sun wood in Hex 60 are pointing downwards in the next trading cycles.

In conclusion, if I see Hex 26 transformed to Hex 45, I consider it not a good situation for investing in that stock.
