    Chapter 1: http://www.taoism.net/ttc/complete.htm

    The Yi Jing commented:

The name that can be named is not the eternal name -> 64.2.6 > 16

    The formation
    64 - Instability
One must show patience and only act knowingly. They are cautious and inform their relatives.

2 - One has gone without help to feed their entourage, but is getting tired so they ask the most able for the means to return.
6 - One does not show their hesitations, in order to not discourage their group.

    In the making
    16 - Youth
Youth can be mobilized. It is a period of indecision which will be emerged through involvement.

    My interpretation:

Instability suggests that to give name we need to understand (act knowingly). Line 2 may show the situation of the person who wants to give a name to the eternal name. The line 6 can be interpreted in two ways: protective silence from above, or a comment on the author's perspective. We will try to clarify with follow-up questions.

    Show patience about what? (64)

    The formation

2 - One sees that it won't last and leaves with sadness.
6 - One wants to see the evidence that the other is patient and will take not even a modest initiative before committing oneself to return what the other has lost.

The problem seems to be that the eternal name changes constantly (line 2), and is difficult to grasp (line1). The initiative of line 6 appears to be 'naming the eternal name'. More follow-up questions are necessary.

    Conclusion:

64.2 shows that Laozi, the author of the Tao Te Ching declares that the eternal name cannot be named, because his goal is to avoid difficulties. 64.2 is often about returning to reality, to reason and this seems to be the case here, instead of embarking in an impossible quest to name the eternal name, let's just say that the eternal name cannot be named.

64.6 shows the position of the entity that bears the eternal name, who is often named God or the Tao. Wouldn't this entity give us their name? The answer is that the entity is always evolving so the correct answer is changing constantly, thus it is better to remain silent than give different answers everytime, which would be discouraging for those who are seeking God or the Tao.

The hexagram 64 was quite difficult to interpret, but gave us a lot of insight, and finally, it boils down to the eternal name being unstable because it changes constantly. The advice (from 27.1) is to use a convenient name to design the eternal name, such as God or the Tao.

The hexagram 16 is about involvement, it is a recommendation. When asked what kind of involvement, the oracle gave us 24.1.3.5 as answer. 24.1 shows that naming the eternal name Tao makes the believer of God uncomfortable and reciprocally, naming the eternal name God makes the the supporters of the Tao doubtful. 24.3 is thus an encouragement to find a new name that would receive everyone's support. 24.5 indicates that abandoning the quest for the eternal name is an error. As we have seen with 27.1 above, the best would be to find a convenient name that would be accepted by all.

This is a very difficult reading, that gave us a lot of insight about the quest for the eternal name.
